The team was born at the autumn 1997, from the initiative of a band of impassioned, all colleagues, having in heart to take up the challenge of Shell Eco Marathon while representing as well as possible the colors of the Petrochemical Site of Berre. Certain members, all working on the site, remained longer than others, but the solidity and the longevity of this team are due to the “hard core”: Guy MARNAT (the team manager), Patrick LOPEZ (the pilot) and Serge PORATI (the Mechanic).Since this days we are profiting of moral and financial support from our director Patrice GIRARD, the communication service of the site via Isabelle AGUESSE and Philippe ESTEBE (facilitor sponsors).
 

Since came to be grafted Maxime LERI bringing his experiment in the use of materials composite, Stephane CARNEVALE for electricity electronics and engine management and lately Franck PORRARO for the body, painting and logistics.

A partnership was also born with our colleagues from BUTAGAZ represented by Bruno CUSSET and Dominique DE MUNTER our  LPG specialists.

Finally we joined the "FERNAND LEGER" College of Berre l'étang (13) represented by two professors overflowing of enthusiasm: Amandine WAGNER and Gérard OLLIVIER and also the pilots, and the assistance team, all pupils of the college.
